NCU will get a boost in its research activity by obtaining the services of the student, who will do research under the expert guidance of faculty members of the University and work towards his/her doctoral degree. NCU encourages brilliant students who have recently obtained their postgraduate degrees to pursue their research activity by offering them temporary positions as University Fellow on a contract basis. This benefits both NCU and the student. NCU will get a boost in its research activity by obtaining the services of the student, who will do research under the expert guidance of faculty members of the University and work towards his/her doctoral degree. For appointment as a Fellow, the candidate should first obtain admission into the full-time Ph.D. Programme of NCU.The upper age limit for applying for the award of Fellow is 28 years from the date of application. The selection committee, post interviewing the candidates, awarded the fellowship in two categories: Rs. 35,000/- pm (Excellent) and Rs. 25,000/- pm (Very Good). The tenure of the appointment of the fellowship is for a period of maximum 4 years, subject to renewal every year based on performance and progress made in research work.
