Cyber Security Center of Excellence

According to a PwC report, cyber-attacks are “becoming progressively destructive and targeting a broadening array of information and attack vectors.” Both private and public sectors are relying on Cyber Security and Forensics professionals to keep personal and professional information safe. With this aim in mind, Cyber Security Center of Excellence was established in Mar 2020 for capacity building in the area of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. This lab complements Cyber Security & Forensics specialization and is currently equipped with 25 high-end configuration systems of Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
Empowered with the vision to elevate and scale the cybersecurity ecosystem, Cyber Security CoE aims to:

• Enhance skills of students to further academic research and development
• Foster industry partnerships with academia
• Facilitate internationally recognized certifications in the field of Cyber Security & Forensics
• Upskill Faculty through FDPs, workshops, webinars, etc
• Industry mentored projects
• Organize Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, webinars, national workshops, etc to enhance the employability rate of students
