The Department of ME organized a Workshop on Road Safety Awareness in Collaboration with HERO MOTO CORP. LTD. on 29th April 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Seminar Hall for the students of B. Tech, BA and Law. The webinar started with a brief introduction of the presenters- Mr. Sudhanshu, discussed the topic with a help of an informative power point presentation and videos.
The presenter gave a brief introduction on Traffic Distancing and briefed everyone on how to prevent ourselves from road accidents and be safe. Mr. Sudhanshu discussed various road safety rules and several scenarios where people did not follow proper rules and end up getting hurt. The speakers told that every year in India around 1 lakh people dies due to Road accidents. They concluded that Road Deaths are biggest cause of Unnatural Deaths in our Country. Mr. Sudhanshu then discussed ‘2 Second Rule’ on Traffic Distancing in order to make Roads Safer with the help of Power point Presentation and a Video. The session ended with an interactive Question and Answer session wherein the expert from HERO group answered all the questions put forth by the attendees in great detail. It was an informative and enriching session. The session was attended by 70 students. The session was Coordinated by Mr. Anmol Bhatia and Dr. Roshan Raman.
