Workshop on Know Your Rights

School of Management organized a workshop in association with Josh Talks on “Know Your Rights”, a brand philosophy of “Ab Samjhauta Nahi” campaign by ITC Vivel on 16 March 2019. The speaker, Ms Agrima Rathore focused on women empowerment through legal rights. The discussion was centred with the help of live examples through videos and case studies to the following areas –

Don’t compromise with your thoughts.
Six fundamental rights.
Talking about gender or sex, is it the same or different?
Discussion on various cases – Nirbhaya Case, Tribunal Case and Vishakha vs state of Rajasthan and the laws amended after these cases.
Things to keep in mind while registering an FIR.
Dr Esha Jain concluded the session with a vote of thanks, distributing Certificates and Goodies Bags (by ITC Vivel) to all the participants.
