Workshop attended on “Digital India Programme” at Centre of e-Governance

A group of 28 B.Tech CSE students from Ist semester attended the workshop on “Digital India Programme” at Centre of e-Governance (CeG), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), New Delhi on 03.08.18. The students learnt about the e-Governance projects being implemented through National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), to bring in efficiency and effectiveness in citizen-centric services, socio-economic transformation, especially in the fields of education, health, skill-building, entrepreneurship and in creating employment opportunities. Three of our students won prizes in the Digital India Quiz. Two faculty members Dr. Jyoti Sahni and Ms. Kanika Gupta accompanied the students for the visit.
