The Sapient Club of the University organised the sapience Convention on 9 May, 2022, from 9:30 am -3:00 pm in the University Auditorium. The event was organised in the form of interactive sessions where five renowned speakers were invited to deliver talks on topics of their expertise.
The event gave a valuable insight into the corporate world, with speakers highlighting the key management skills required to gain success in the long run. It also highlighted personal improvement as a part of personality development, which helps students clear job interviews with confidence and included tips on business etiquette. The aim of the event was to make the students aware of their strengths as well as help them channel them in a proper way.
The registration for the event was done online. The event started with a musical performance by students of club Encore. The event then took off with the First speakers- Ms Tulika Mahapatra, HOD training and development, Prabhav Learning’s pvt Ltd. and Ms Aakansha Bhardwaj,Freelance trainer, who spoke about business etiquette and conflict management.The next speaker was Mr Sajjan Barnwal, Consultant at TIMEs group, who spoke on the topic ‘Think without Ink. After him, Mr Sunil Dua, Senior regional head of TIMES group delivered a talk on personal interviews. The event ended with the last speaker of the day, Ms Deepika Lohan(Counselling physiologist), who spoke about psychological well-being. The event also included other musical performances by the Encore Club and a dance performance by the Morphinated Club. The event received 500 online registrations and was a huge success. The event was coordinated by Dr Pooja Sabherwal- Faculty Coordinator and Navya Karnas, and Rishabh Singroha- Student Coordinators.
