Re-Installation Ceremony of ISHRAE Student Sub Chapter

The Department of Mechanical Engineering invited Mr. Kapil Singhal, President of ISHRAE Sub-Chapter Gurugram, Mr. Sunil Gautam, Chair of student activities at ISHRAE, & Mr. Mohit Tripathi, Youth Chair at ISHRAE, for Re-Installation of its Student Chapter at NCU on 20^th September 2017. ISHRAE is an international associate of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). Today it has more than 12,000 HVAC&R professionals as members and additionally there are 7,500 Student-members. It operates from 41 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. During the Installation Ceremony, Mr. Kapil Singhal identified NCU as a potential partner in Gurugram Sub-Chapter, amongst other ongoing partnerships with premier institutes. Mr. Singhal then proceeded to call upon each successfully elected student to take the Oath for holding the Office of student President, Secretary and Treasurer. NCU Student Chapter has 37 members with the steering committee constituting six members from final and pre-final year batches. Re-Installation of the ISHRAE Chapter is expected to give a boost to the Industry-Institute interaction in Mechanical Engineering. The event was successfully coordinated by the Society coordinators, Mr. Jag Parvesh Dahiya, Mr. Sanchit Mewar & Mr. Parveen Singh.
