Poster Making Competition on COVID-19

A poster making competition was organised by IEI CSE Student Chapter, NCU on 15th April 2020. This event was open for all age group students. The theme of the competition was Corona Virus, Covid-19. The students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. Students participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made very beautiful posters which contains major precautions avoid social gathering, frequently wash your hands, cover our mouth while sneezing and major symptoms fever, cough, hard to breathe. The aim of this competition was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensitize them towards these serious issues. Competitions of the sort increase the observational skills, response to thoughts, awareness and concern of the children towards global issues. The participants were assessed based on criteria like relevance to the theme, originality, impact of the message, creativity and overall presentation. The event was coordinated by Ms. Hitesh Yadav and Ms. Neeti Kashyap.
