Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition

The department of CSE and IEEE NCU organized a poster making and slogan writing competition on “Warriors of Covid-19” for school students on 8 May 2020. Main focus of the competition was to spread awareness amongst youngsters and to pay tribute to our corona warriors. There were more than 60 registrations from different schools for the event. Students through their posters portrayed how our frontline corona warriors are risking their own lives and safeguarding us. Posters highlighted the efforts put in by our doctors, paramedical staff, police and sanitary workers in this unprecedented situation. Winners of the competition have been awarded cash prices of Rs. 3000 by the university. The event was organised by Dr. Pankaj Rakheja, Dr. Jyotika Pruthi and Ms. Akanksha Kapoor with help of student coordinators: Mr. Virendra Pratap Singh, Mr. Rohit Dalal and Mr. Vishesh Kurseja under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Kavita Khanna. Total 63 registrations were received, and 26 entries were finally received.
