Industrial Visit – Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd

An industrial visit was organized for the students from BCom, BBA and MBA courses to Yakult, Sonepat, Haryana on 29 March 2019. Yakult is manufactured at an ISO 9001:2008, HACCP and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified manufacturing facility. The students were given a brief presentation about the company’s history, its global presence, distribution channels, turnover, and robust research base followed by showcasing a corporate movie which shared the idea of ‘probiotics’ glimpsing the world wide success of Yakult. The state of the art factory was a unique learning experience for all the students. The visit was accompanied by two faculty members Dr Jahanvi Bansal and Dr Preeti Chawla.
