Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering & Department of Mechanical Engineering & jointly organized an ‘HR Conclave 2019’ at the NorthCap University on 5 March 2019.

The Chief Guest, Mr Shouvik Nandi, HR Head, Siemens Energy & Automation addressed the key skills that a present HR looks for corporate employability. The event brought together eminent HR professionals from Daikin Air Conditioning India Pvt. Ltd., Napino Auto & Electronics Ltd., Truechip Solutions ;GMR Infra; Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd, among others from the industry on a common platform where they shared their experiences and best practices on the topic “Hiring trends of corporate for campus”.

Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro-Chancellor mentioned that Employability of a student is integral of knowledge, skills & attitude. Knowledge & skills required are changing at a rapid rate, hence, students shall benefit from this platform to know about the latest hiring requirements from Esteemed HR Delegates. Vice Chancellor, Prof. HB Raghavendra highlighted the Industry oriented curriculum of The NorthCap University where students have the option of earning Credits while opting for Internship & Industry based projects.

The departments showcased their professional societies such as SPIE, IEEE, IEI and SAE accompanied with various projects like New Genre Battery Driven Motorcycle, Electric Solar Vehicle, Go-Kart Vehicle, Modified LPG Gas Stove, Terra motors vehicle, Automatic gear system, Laser light show, Transmission line fault detector, TV Firestick with enhanced capabilities, A basic mobile phone using Arduino, Dexto-Eka robot, Intruder detector were displayed. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks by Mr BK Gupta, Director, School of Professional Attachment.
