Civil Engineering- A challenging career

The Dept of Civil & Environmental Engineering organized a lecture on ‘Civil Engineering – A challenging career’ by Er. P Surya Prakash, an eminent engineer and consultant who has made significant contribution to Civil Engineering in India, for BTech CE students on 12 Oct 2018. He talked about the profession of Civil Engineering where hard work, dedication, ethics and sincerity are very important. He emphasized on students’ attendance and attentiveness in class and motivated students to carry out experiments in the laboratory with deep interest as that is important in turning out professional Civil Engineers. He discussed about the challenges in the Civil Engineering profession and shared various career options available for Civil Engineering graduates. He extended his guidance to the students for internship and project works.

Er. P Surya Prakash has established M/s SatyaVani Projects and Consultants Pvt Ltd and is also the Founder and Mentor of Smart Infr-EST, a trust dedicated to Civil Engineering for enhancing employability.
