Project Title: Designing of various hybrid structure phase masks for optical image encryption for information security using certain selected mathematical transforms.

Project Details: Funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB)-CRG Scheme (Project Code: CRG/2023/005504).

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Engagement: Onsite

Tenure: It is a temporary role. Maximum tenure of 3 years, subject to project funding and candidate performance

Emoluments: Rs. 37,000 + HRA@27% (total Rs. 46,990/month), as per SERB norms

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in the domain of optics and photonics, focusing on optical image encryption.
• Develop, test, and validate hybrid structure phase masks for secure information transmission.
• Collaborate within the Department of Applied Sciences and contribute to project milestones and reports.

Eligibility Criteria

• MSc in Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent with at least 55% from a recognised university.
• CSIR-NET / SET or valid GATE score.

• Desirable Qualifications: Proficiency in Optics and Photonics, along with programming skills in MATLAB or Python. Prior experience in related research areas is a plus.
• Age Limit: 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per Government of India norms).
