SENIOR CITIZEN’S WEEK

On the occasion of  the Older Persons Day (1st October, as designated by the United Nations), the School of Law, of The NorthCap University in association with The Rotaract Club, The Legal Aid Society and The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organised and celebrated ‘Senior Citizen’s Week’ from 29th  September to 6th October, 2021.

In line with the initiative, the outreach activities were conducted on 4th and 5th October 2021, whereby the School of Law students interacted with the senior citizens at India Bulls sector 104, Gurugram and the residents of the old age home at sector 4, Gurugram. 

Also, to enhance and promote virtual legal education through live sessions on YouTube, a workshop on “Digital Equity for the Elderly : Access, Inclusion and Protection” was also organized. 

This endeavor was undertaken under the expertise of the faculty coordinator - Dr. Tavleen Kaur Khurana and the outreach activities were coordinated by Dr. Pallavi Bajpai and Ms. Shiksha Dahiya, faculties of the School of Law, The NorthCap University.
