About

To provide students with ample scope of clinical legal education and assisting them in facing the new challenges and dimensions of the legal profession, the School of Law at the NorthCap University is the Best Law School in Gurugram/ Haryana and has shown all-round progress and proved its credentials to be a force to be reckoned with in the field of legal education in the country. While choosing courses and academic experiences, the students at law school are given the flexibility to opt for a broad and expanded range of programme elective and open elective courses, thereby giving them the opportunity to face the challenges of the contemporary academic world. At the same time, the open elective courses offered by other departments add to their scope to have a multidisciplinary approach to law. They may also specialize in a Particular area of law, like constitutional law, corporate law, intellectual property rights or international law.

The curriculum has been revised regularly to respond to the demand for new skills and challenges facing law and legal education in the emerging global scenario. There has always been an effort to strengthen the core curriculum to ensure a strong all-round education for the students. It includes significant flexibility so that students can deepen a more professionally focused degree with the international, commercial, economic, and social context of 21st century challenges. In this program, the students will be able to graduate with their honours and specializations. The graduates of Five Year BBA LL.B (H) Degree Programme will be able to attain the following:

PSO 1- Effective application of laws and drafting skills

To be able to understand and demonstrate knowledge about substantive and procedural laws to engage with a wide variety of arguments and resolve legal disputes through fact-finding, investigation, interviewing, legal research and drafting.

PSO 2- Professions on Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms

Ability to effectively adopt alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for settlement of disputes in an expeditious manner thereby delivering a well-rounded and satisfying experience for the parties involved.
