Two days workshop on analysis and design of determinate and indeterminate structures using Staad Pro

Two days workshop on, “Analysis and Design of determinate and indeterminate structures with Staad Pro. V8i” was organized under IEI student’s chapter of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering by Mr. Diptendu Roy, Faculty Advisor IEI on 31^st October and 1^st November 2018. The workshop was organized in association with IID (Institute of Industrial Design) and CADD Centre. The content of the workshop was in-line with the subjects studied by the students as a part of their curriculum. Wherein students had hands on experience in analysis of beams, frame and trusses subjected to static and moving loads and design of reinforced concrete sections. They also had opportunity to practice more problems which helped them to understand the underlying concepts better. The students were highly interested and showed great enthusiasm in the workshop and suggested the department to conduct such workshops in future.
