Industrial Visit to NHAI sites

A site visit was organized by Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering on 4 Sept 2017 where students of BTech IInd year and IIIrd year along with faculty members Mr Shubham Bansal and Ms Purnima Bajpai visited ongoing construction sites at Rajiv Chowk, Signature Tower and IFFCO Chowk carried by Gawar Construction Pvt. Ltd. Various underpass and flyovers were being constructed at three critical zones at NH8 in order to decongest the traffic between old and new Gurugram. Mr Anurag, Site Engineer gave technical details of Dowel Bars and reinforcement detailing of Underpass I & Underpass II at Signature Tower. Mr DPS Gaur, Senior Project Manager briefly explained specifications of the project.
